Amin Mawji

Amin is a partner at Ernst & Young, where he has served in a number of leadership roles including as Global Head of its Aerospace and Defence Group and partner responsible for Financial Reporting Advisory services.

Amin graduated in Economics from The LSE before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1982. From 1990 to 2002, he was a partner at Arthur Andersen.

Over the past 25 years, Amin has advised on a number of large corporate mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the CBI’s Manufacturing Council, and has also been appointed by the UK Government, including the MoD, the Cabinet Office, the NAO and the Audit Commission, to advise on governance, financial reporting and performance management systems. He is the author of Programmed for Control, a book covering best practice ideas on controlling risks on long-term contracts, programmes and projects
