Harpal Singh Hungin
Policy & Public Affairs Officer
Harpal joined EMF in 2009, following 2 years in corporate communications at Network Rail. Harpal works on the EMF’s full range of events in and around Westminster, as well as EMF campaigns and policy reports. His primary focus is on domestic policy, and his research interests include immigration, education and constitutional reform.
Harpal has an MSc in Public Policy from University College London, and a BA in Philosophy & Politics from the University of Southampton. He has previous experience of working in a political party, MPs office, and public affairs consultancy.

Secil Erden
Social Policy & Research Officer
Secil is a Social Policy and Research Officer at EMF. Her primary interests include gender, health and livelihood, children and education, new technology and social applications.
Secil is currently working on EMF’s campaign to speed up treatment of the world’s most neglected diseases, in particular Tuberculosis.
Prior to working for the EMF, Secil worked at an investment bank’s equity research and sales teams.
Secil has an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics and a degree in Industrial Economics from University of Nottingham.

Kalpesh Bhanderi
Head of ICT
Kalpesh is Head of ICT at EMF. His role is to work out how systems and technology can best serve the charity’s goals.
His previous roles have mainly been in the travel and retail sector.
