Anil Bhanot OBE (chair)

Anil Bhanot OBE is a practising Chartered Accountant who has been working for community relations for over 20 years on a voluntary capacity. He chairs several other community based organisations and is a strong advocate of social justice, for which he has also worked extensively with Government departments. Anil is a key interfaith leader in the UK, representing the British Hindu community, and he runs his own family charity the Rita Trust. Anil seeks to strengthen ‘public benefit’ as the Chairman of EMF.


Sunil Purohit (Honorary Treasurer)

Sunil has nearly 20 years experience of managing finance and operations in the international technology and professional services market sectors. Having served as a CFO and main board director in publicly quoted and private equity backed companies, he brings extensive experience of investor relations, M&A and capital raising in growth oriented companies with international operations. Sunil trained as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse and holds a BCom degree in Accounting from the University of Birmingham.


Surinder Syan (Legal Director)

Surinder Syan is the Legal Director who has wide ranging experience in commercial, civil and property litigation. Surinder brings his legal expertise and analytical approach to the Board.

Tangy C. Morgan

(Re)insurance executive with over 25 years of experience in the US, Bermuda, London and international markets insuring the catastrophe liability of global organizations ranging across all sectors. She has built a successful career; Senior Vice President of Starr Excess International (AIG), Deputy Head of Syndicate Underwriting Performance Corporation of Lloyd’s of London and a Senior Advisor to the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority.

Prior to her (re)insurance career, Tangy was an Oil and Gas Production Analyst in Conoco, Inc. North American Production Division. She holds degrees from Tennessee State University and a Master of Science Degree in Business Continuity, Security and Risk Management from Boston University.
